Happiness when editing (or playing nicely with the clipboard)

Like the phrase now stolen by Kellogg's, its the simple things in life that are often the best ;)…. either that or it's simple things for simple minds :).

I had a nice experience when updating our internal wiki, setting up my personal page to have a list of my important work urls. When doing this, I was (naturally enough) copying and pasting a url to put into EditLive. I was happy to see the insert link dialog (pretty standard for html editors), include the url string that I had inserted into the clipboard.

This is a nice way of having the system do good sensible defaulting. It was smart enough to only do this when the clipboard was a url string. It really is the little things that make a difference :).
